I count each leaf falling under the Talisay tree
As you sat underneath feeling cozy and free
The cool wind of summer blows your hair
As it caress your face, so pretty and so fair…
I wish you would listen to the songs they whisper
The dainty falling leaves of this lovely summer
They are my songs of LOVE I’ve whispered in the air
That they may come to you and whisper in your ears…
The golden leaves of summer are beauty to behold
Blanketing the grasses they are precious as gold
